Nancy Ketchman, Principal
A passion for community underlies my work, both professionally and personally, and is a founding principle of Bottlewood Communications. Whether it’s the neighborhoods on Milwaukee’s near north side or communities throughout the greater Milwaukee area (and beyond), I continually advocate for safer neighborhoods, better schools, healthier and more affordable food choices, and sustainable transportation options.
I bring an extensive background in marketing communications, writing, and community relations to Bottlewood Communications. I’ve held a variety of positions – from senior editor (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations aka JCAHO) to marketing director (U.S. Counseling Services) to director of development and communications (Fondy Food Center).
I have a BA in English from Marquette University and an MA in English from the University of Connecticut at Storrs. And while I taught writing composition to several UCONN basketball players (two of whom went on to play in the NBA), I live daily with the regret that I never attended a Huskies game at UCONN. Please don’t bring it up. I live in Milwaukee’s historic Brewers Hill neighborhood with my husband and two sons.
Additional Support: Bottlewood Communications has a strong network of experienced website designers, graphic artists, photographers, writers, and development professionals upon which it relies to customize a complete package of services. Tell us what you need and we will deliver it.
